Who built Zeodyn
Zeodyn was founded by Gareth Sharp, CTO of Virtual Factory Solutions Ltd., in February 2026 to address a gap no one was measuring: whether AI agents can actually do business with e-commerce websites.
The Agent Commerce Stack™ methodology was developed through three waves of research covering 23 investigative angles and over 150 sources, then empirically validated against more than 3,500 unique e-commerce sites across 17 global markets (as of March 2026). The scoring engine uses weighted geometric aggregation (the same approach as the UN Human Development Index) with fail gates for critical requirements.
Zeodyn is based in England and operates as an independent, bootstrapped SaaS platform.

At the core of Zeodyn is the Agent Commerce Stack™ — a six-dimension methodology for assessing AI agent commerce readiness. It covers the full pipeline an AI agent follows: discovery, data comprehension, commerce signals, protocol support, security verification, and technical performance.
The methodology draws on three waves of academic and industry research, synthesising over 150 sources. Scores are aggregated using a weighted geometric mean — the same approach used by the UN Human Development Index — ensuring that critical weakness in any single dimension cannot be masked by strength elsewhere.
